EastEnder says “I’m sick of being thin…,” and a Spice Girl loved her pregnancy curves.

nataliecassidy.JPGI want this dress. Oh lord how I want this dress. Where on earth did she get that dress? I bet she got it from one of those cute London boutiques. Not one of the inexpensive places where I buy clothes like Top Shop or H&M. I want that dress and I want her moxie. Seriously, this chick has got moxie. Moxie is like chutzpah. My grandfather used to use the word chutzpah. Like when I would ask him to buy me a pony he would just laugh and say, “You’ve got some chutzpah to ask me a thing like that. What do you think I am some kind of Rockefeller.” Then my grandmother would start singing Irving Berlin, “Come let’s mix where Rockefellers walk with sticks / Or “um-ber-ellas” in their mitts / Puttin’ on the ritz.” But that’s another story.

English TV Star says she is quitting dieting.

The former EastEnder has decided to ditch dieting as the strain of maintaining the weight loss has proved too much for her.

Natalie slimmed down from a size 16 to a size 8 by following a grueling exercise regime which resulted in the release of a fitness DVD.

Well at least she made £300,000 from the DVD! She can buy herself more cute dresses.

Natalie said: “What do I have to do – wear a bikini or spandex every day just to prove that I haven’t put on weight? I’m a bit bored now.’

Right on Natalie! Dieting is so boring. Will you be my best friend?

emmabunton.JPGHave you been missing the Spice Girls? No? Me neither. And I can’t say that I ever think about them, aside from feeling woozy anytime I remember that one drunken evening when a group of my girlfriends insisted we watch Spice World, the Spice Girls big movie, “Come on!” they said, “It’ll be just like a slumber party.” Yeah a slumber party with margarita’s! Zigga Zig Uh!

So I really had to think a minute about which Spice Girl Emma had been. Sporty? No. Scary? No – she’s the one who had the baby out of wedlock with increasingly scary himself Eddie Murphy. Ah! Baby. Yup, little Baby Spice (the one who played with stuffed animals in the movie) has had a baby of her own and she says that she loved being curvy, hated working out right after childbirth (well who wouldn’t?) and that she wished she had waited to go on tour and had just stayed home breastfeeding little Baby Jr.

Spice Girl says; “I like being curvy, I don’t think I look good thin.”

I gotta say…I give her kudos for saying that she loved her body when she was pregnant. Now please don’t get bent out of shape. I know that being pregnant is not the same as being fat. But hey, I have a girlfriend who hated her body both times she was pregnant because she felt “big and ugly.” I think it’s a wonderful thing to hear a female celebrity say, in the “Fat Alert!” culture that celebrities live in, that she thinks she is prettier when she weighs more. Good on ya Baby Spice!
