Well done video! What I like about the “statement necklace” tip is that you can find really cute strands of beads and playful chunky necklaces dirt cheap. If you live in NYC you can find them on vendor’s tables, and in discount stores in the ‘burbs for a dollar or less. Even plastic beads can be made to work depending on how you wear them.

One of my secrets for updating clothes or making an inexpensive piece look dressier is to replace ho-hum buttons with funkier ones. Even a handful of mismatched buttons sewn onto the same blouse can look really cool.
